YES, start putting .4 oz of either automatic transmission fluid or "Marvel Mystery Oil" in your gas tank, for every one gallon of gas. Or round it off to 1 1/2 to 2 oz. for each full tank full. The automatic transmission oil can be bought at Walmart (Walmart's brand) for $4.20 per gallon. The Marvel Mystery Oil can also be purchased at Walmart for $9.95 per gal.
By using a high detergent lubricant in the gasoline the carburetor slide will remain clean and slippery; other wise the friggen carburetor slide, tends to stick and make the Savage run friggen damn right crapy, from time to time!!!!
